Dr. C. Gustavo De Moraes is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmic Sciences and the Director of Clinical Trials at Columbia University Medical Center. His primary research interests are in novel techniques for glaucoma diagnosis and treatment.

Professor De Moraes recently developed a contact lens, with sensors that continuously monitor intraocular pressure, to detect glaucoma progression.  He will describe this, and his other lab initiatives, at Wearable Tech + Digital Health NYC on June 7th.
