Rafael J. Grossmann, MD, FACS is  a General, Trauma, Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic surgeon, originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and now practicing in Bangor, Maine. His career focus has been using the power of technology for better, more humane medical care.

Dr. Grossmann  is one of the earliest GoogleGlass Explorers, and was the first doctor to ever use Google Glass during live surgery (Google Glass In The Operating Room).
